Pressure Wash

Now is the time to pressure wash the entire house. Start with the roof and work down to the interior floors which can be washed. Include the garage, driveway, privacy walls, fencing, and even bathrooms. This money will be well spent. Problems which need attention will be easier to see.

If pets have lived in the house previously, a thorough pressure wash is essential for health reasons. Further, if a house has a pet smell, finding a buyer will be much more difficult. Early on in the schedule, set off half a dozen insect fogger bombs.

Buy your own pressure washer if you have money to throw away. Better, hire someone to do the pressure washing. Resist the urge to rent a machine and do the work yourself. There are more urgent tasks which need your attention than pressure washing yourself.
