Final InspectionsContact the building department for your final inspections on all aspects of the home. What you want is final approval so you can have the electricity turned on, the water turned on, and then check for other problems which can not be determined without power and water service. This inspection produces what is termed a certificate of occupancy.Expect there to be something missing or incorrect. There always is. Just complete what ever is incorrect and schedule a reinspection for the next day.
