Closet Organizers

Each closet must have a bar for hanging clothes with a shelf above it. Not much more should be considered. If you encounter a house with extensive closet shelving, do not remove it until it has been cleaned to determine if it can be used.

If you start thinking about installing a closet organization system in a flip, take a moment to calculate the amount of your profit you are willing to pass on to a buyer for this feature.

In my estimation, closet organizers are installed by the person who will live in the space. If you just have to have closet organizers, install them in your own closet and leave the flip alone.

Space Savers Order Processing Information   back to top

Space Savers processes and ships orders Monday thru Friday. Orders placed after 8:30 AM will be processed within 2 business days. Most orders ship within 4-6 business days from our North Carolina facilities unless longer shipping times are noted in the product description. Expedited shipping orders will be processed within 1 business day, with the exceptions of our offices/processing departments closing for holidays.

For example, if you place a Next Day Delivery Order on Monday at 9 AM, your order will be processed and shipped on Tuesday and your order will be received on Wednesday. If you need your order expedited, please call our Customer Service Dept at 1-800-849-7210  to ask for expedited service. We’ll be happy to help you out!

If an item is out of stock, unavailable, on backorder, or will take longer than 6 business days to ship, you will be contacted via email regarding your order status. To process your order faster, we reserve the right to ship your order from more than one location or ship the items that are immediately available. Your shipping confirmation email will have information regarding items that did not ship together. Example: You receive an order shipping confirmation email. Some items will have tracking numbers, the others will have the notation of “shipping in 2-3 days”. When your other items ship, you will receive another email with the tracking numbers of the rest of your order.

Phone Orders: If you wish to place your Space Savers order over the phone, please contact Customer Support at 1-800-849-7210, M-F 8:30-5:00 EST

Purchase Orders: We accept purchase orders from Schools, Hospitals, Churches & Local, State & Gov't Agencies. Please fax your purchase order to 336-768-4082 for approval. Please include direct contact information and email address. We reserve the right to review all purchase orders before acceptance.

Minimum Purchase Order Amount: $200

Large Quantity Orders: If you need to order large quantities of items, please call our Customer Service Dept for a shipping quote. Many times we can offer truck delivery depending on the type and quantity of items you need. Our shipping tables do not calculate for orders weighing over 150 lbs. We reserve the right to adjust shipping rate changes for large quantity orders that did not receive a shipping quote.

Payment Methods: Space Savers accepts the following: American Express, MC/Visa, Check or M/O, and Purchase Orders via fax at 336-768-4082(see above). Check & M/O purchases need to print out the order page and mail to: Space Savers Internet Orders, 3946 Westpoint Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.

Space Savers ships using Fed Ex to ship your order as quickly as possible. Please note that if Fed Ex Home Delivery is used (if your area accepts this type of delivery and we are using Fed Ex to ship your order, this is our most commonly used method) unless a business name is specified, your order is subject to Home Delivery schedule. Fed Ex Home Delivery drops off packages Tues-Sat whereas Fed Ex Ground (Businesses) and UPS Ground (Business & Residential) deliver Mon-Fri.

If you live outside of the Contiguous US: (AK, HI) we offer 2 shipping methods:

Priority Mail AK & HI - limit 70 lbs

Next Day Air & 2nd Day Air

Please note that not all items can be shipped via Priority Mail AK & HI or Next Day or 2nd Day Air.

 

Shipping area limitations can be found on individual product pages or please call customer service at 1-800-849-7210 for shipping information to Alaska & Hawaii.

 

Items that ship directly from the Manufacturer: Specific shipping information and transit times are listed on the individual item pages. At this time, we can only ship these items via Ground and only in the Contiguous US. We apologize to our HI & AK customers for this inconvenience and are working towards methods that may allow us to ship these items to you in the future. Please call or email Customer Service to ask if we can arrange 2nd Day Air Shipments for you if an item is a "direct-ship" - please be aware that the charges would be significantly higher and may not arrive in 2 business days.

 

Military Mail: If you receive your mail through an APO/FPO address, ONLY First Class Mail can be used and delivery times cannot be guaranteed as we do not control how quickly Military Mail is processed out to you. Please note that some items cannot ship to your addresses as they ship directly from the manufacturer. Item shipping limitations can be found on individual product pages.

 

US Priority Mail: We will only use US Mail for APO/FPO Military Mail and AK, HI and Puerto Rico recipients Only.

 

International Shipping: We do not ship outside of the US at this time. We recommend that you have a US address place your order for you and ship it to you. This method works well for Americans living and working abroad.

 

Choosing your Shipping Option   back to top

 

Please choose your shipping option carefully. If you place your order using an option that your address does not support, we reserve the right to contact you regarding your order and the change in shipping charges that will need to be added to your order to process. If you are choosing an expedited shipping method for items that we cannot ship via that method, you will be contact about the change to your order. These errors will delay the processing of your order. Any option chosen besides Ground or First Class Mail is considered an expedited method.

Example: An APO/FPO address choosing Ground will have to be changed to First Class Mail.

Example: You have chosen an item that only ships Ground, but have chosen 2nd Day Air. Your order will need to be modified and your shipping charges adjusted.

 

If you see an error message at checkout:

1. You may have exceeded the amount of shippable weight allowed by the Shipping Method. Please choose another method and/or call or email our office for a shipping quote.

2. You are trying to ship with a method that your address does not support. Please see the options below.

 

If you place your order and see a $0.00 shipping charge, that means that your shipping method or total weight exceeds our shipping guidelines. Your order will be modified to the correct method and shipping charges will be added to your order.

 

Space Savers is not responsible for delays due to incorrect addresses or a business that is closed.

Ground (Continental US only) Street Addresses Only. Transit Times 1 -6 days.
Next Day Air – Next business day. A Saturday Delivery Option is available for $15 extra by calling our Customer Service Department at 1-800-849-7210
2nd Day Air – Second Business Day (Please choose this method for service to HI, AK)

Priority Mail AK & HI - Transit Time: 6-10 days. Please note that not all items can ship this method.
First Class Mail - US Priority Mail. Please select this option for APO/FPO Military Mail and AK, HI and Puerto Rico recipients only. No PO Boxes or Street Addresses (APO/FPO Military Mail). * 70 lb. limit.

Space Savers Shipping Rates   back to top

Space Savers Shipping rates are calculated based on weight and shipping dimensions and are subject to change. Some of our items are oversized and the shipping charge will reflect that. We do not offer “price based” shipping as many of our less expensive items can be large and heavy, reflecting a higher shipping charge. Large items like footlockers, wire shelving, bookcases and plastic shelving are quite bulky and have to be charged at a higher rate due to the dimensional size of the box.

If you wish to contact us about returning an item, please have your order number handy and we'll be glad to help you out! We are always happy to assist our customers in any way possible.

Space Savers will gladly refund/replace any item that is defective or damaged during shipping. Please call our customer service line at 1-800-849-7210 for replacements or credits.
Items that are not defective but wish to be returned by the customer for credit can be shipped back to the following address: Space Savers 3946 Westpoint Blvd Winston-Salem, NC 27103 Attn: Internet Returns

Non-defective or damaged items  must be returned within 60 days. Space Savers reserves the right to refuse returns that are more than 60 days from purchase.

Please include a copy of your original packing list for item credit. (We do not credit shipping unless item is defective or damaged) Please note reason for return on your packing slip. Space Savers does not charge a re-stocking fee. Customer may choose method of return. Credits are issued within 10 business days after receiving the item. You will be emailed when your credit is issued using the email address used when your order was placed.
